Of 21 ministers, only 2 supported Cristina Kirchner after the posters

This week, the City of Buenos Aires woke up covered in anonymous posters against Cristina Kirchner, referring to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. What did they say? They accused the Vice President of the Nation of “assassin”: “Guilty of 35,000 deaths. You chose business with Putin instead of saving lives.

But that was not all, they also included a QR code that led to the site www.cristinauta.org which had the following message: “The truth does not forgive. You did not let rule. The disaster is yours. Alberto Fernandez driving”. Currently the website is down.

Immediately, these posters generated a huge impact in the political world and “Cristina Kirchner” became a trend on Twitter with more than 3,500 tweets. But, who were the officials who came out to support Cristina?

The President of the Nation, Alberto Fernandeztweeted at 11:27 a.m.: “As I said yesterday, many insist on dividing us and resort to the greatest baseness. I’m sorry for the damage they cause to good people. Know that seeing them act, they only commit me more to the unity of the Front of All”.

This tweet was accompanied by another from Gabriela Cerutispokesman for the Presidency, “The president @alferdez and the national government strictly repudiate the use of an image of the vice president @CFKArgentina on billboards with insults and accusations. The president ordered an immediate investigation to find the authors.

Juliana Di TullioNational Senator, wrote a thread of tweets in which she states: “As National Senator of @UniCiudadanaAR in the @FrenteDeTodos goes my total solidarity with @CFKArgentina and my deepest repudiation for the violent and misogynistic attack of which the vice president is a permanent victim. There is no type of violence that they have not exercised against her. Fed up”.

Who also wrote about it was the Minister of Security of the Nation, Hannibal Fernandez: “We see with astonishment, the use of the image of @CFKArgentina, with insults. Cristina is the best political figure of the last hundred years, which makes her a temptation for the mediocre ones who incite and finance. A strong repudiation of this garbage of suspected origin.”

AND Jorge TaianaMinister of Defense added: “We repudiate the insulting posters against the Vice President @CFKArgentina.” In total, of 21 Ministers, so far only two have expressed themselves. A meager support for an affront that bothered CFK a lot.

No one has spoken from the opposition yet.
