The best of De Telegraaf

Amsterdam – Annie MG Schmidt and her “musical fiancé” Harry Bannink were the Lennon and McCartney of the musical in the Netherlands. They were the first to venture into writing an entirely Dutch musical production with their own lyrics and songs. The Amsterdam Allard Pierson Museum brings with the exhibition Don’t whine! a tribute to these two founders of the genre, which is one of the most popular productions in theaters today.
