How did the Office of Architecture emerge and for what purpose was it carried out?
With more than 20 years of professional activity, it emerges as a space dedicated to collective experimentation. We have formed a multifaceted work team that combines different degrees of knowledge to enhance those individual talents that strengthen group performance.
Our objective is to undertake innovative project work, through a dynamic work approach that allows us to explore works of various scales and destinations. We believe in the value of architectural details; an architecture that responds effectively to the requirements of contemporary living and integrates with its surrounding environment.
Each of our works seeks to conceive spaces that are impregnated in the memory of those who inhabit them, as well as those people who observe them while they travel through the city.
What are your differentials in the market?
We could summarize it in three words: Honesty, Commitment and Dedication.
As an Architecture Office we maintain a professional and personalized treatment with each of our clients and partners, generating a bond that allows us to know what their wishes, needs and particular situations are.
We are convinced that it is essential to think about those who will inhabit our projects. Investigating the term ‘inhabit’ has allowed us to understand that reciprocal relationship between what is built and the inhabitant; It is not just about building square meters, but about thinking in cubic meters, that is, thinking about spatiality. Individuals are the ones who transform spaces according to their personal imprint, that is why we seek to design spacious, integrated and versatile environments; flexible environments that adapt to the changing demands of the globalized world, allowing more fluid transformations in the face of opportunities that may arise, and providing life experiences that combine design, comfort, environmental quality and functionality.
How do you project the brand in the medium term?
We are working so that our office becomes an ‘architecture platform’, where various professionals can associate to enhance the synergy of collective action. Our works are not inert and isolated objects, but are part of a broader and more complex urban fabric. The exchange and joint work would make possible the development of projects and works that transcend individual vision to begin to address a collective construction of the urban image of our cities.
Our region has great talents, highly experienced specialists and young people full of enthusiasm to embark on their careers. Having a platform that puts them in contact and facilitates these associative endeavors would enhance the creative capacity to provide original responses that elevate interventions to works of architecture that inspire, that promote a constant flow of feedback, that spark reflections and generate debates.
