The Munich luxury department store Oberpollinger presents a new sales area in the basement that focuses on streetwear and sportswear.
The retailer offers clothing and accessories for men and women as well as sports equipment on the converted, 2,000 square meter sales area, the subsidiary of the luxury department store operator KaDeWe Group announced on Thursday. Existing sports such as running, yoga, climbing and outdoor are offered as well as a new range of equipment for cycling, golf, tennis and basketball as well as American football from the autumn/winter 2023 season. In winter, golf and tennis are replaced by a ski range.
Appropriately, Oberpollinger started the “Get Moving” campaign in May, in which the shop windows were also decorated with sporting themes. In addition, sports events such as yoga classes or nutritional recommendations are to be held temporarily with selected brand partners.
The brand portfolio of the new area includes established brands such as Bogner, Timberland and On Running, which are supplemented by new brands such as Caselli, Girlfriend Collective and Vuori.
