No.There is no peace for families, already hit enough by the economic crisis, high bills and inflation. Unfortunately the funds have run out available to INPS for the nursery bonus. And also the so-called anti-inflation bonus of 200 and 150 euros is in danger.
Nursery bonuses, funds run out
Starting with the nursery bonuses, they are well 60 thousand families who will no longer have the certainty of being able to count on the contribution ranging from 136 to 272 euros per month depending on the Isee. Most of those who enrolled their child in a nursery for the first time in September, in fact, their request was registered with “reserve”.
What will happen now?
To discover if the application for the nursery bonus will be acceptedit is necessary to wait until the end of the year, when the advanced resources will be counted, if any beneficiary has requested the bonus for a smaller number of monthly payments.
Only in this case, the available resources will be allocated to new applications, which will be evaluated according to the order of presentation. This however, means that they will arrive at least 4 months late.
Nursery bonuses: it all depends on the new government
INPS has already applied to the Government to refinance the maneuver, so as not to put in difficulty the excluded who would remain without a figure between 544 and 1088 euros depending on the months of delay.
The bonus, which is part of the measures implemented in recent months to support families in the expenses for their children, is a reimbursement to support expenses for the attendance of children in nursery schools and preschools public or private authorized.
But also used by those who need support at home for children under three who for serious chronic diseases they cannot attend kindergarten.
The demand is growing
In 2019 the earners were 289 thousand, while in 2020 the earners were 272 thousand. In 2022INPS informed that there were 365,000 applications and those registered with the reserve mechanism were another 61,565.
But the reason for this growth is also unknown to the Social Security Institute. The result is that, however, many families risk being left without resourcesin a moment, as we said, already very complicated.
The only good news is that applications will not be rejected for now, but will await new sources of funding. It is clear, however, that INPS argues that without the intervention of the new government it will be difficult for these questions to be met.
The 200 and 150 euro bonus are also in danger
And that’s not all. In fact, even the so-called anti-inflation bonus of 200 and 150 euros provided by the Aid Decree and addressed to various categories of professionals, they could skip.
The Ministry of Labor sent a letter to 17 private and privatized social security institutions of various categories to ask for it to be suspended temporarily and to carry out a careful monitoring of the expected expenditure.
One question, however, remains unanswered: what will happen to those entities that have already made thousands of wire transfers answering the questions you arrive on September 26th? We do not know yet and communications are awaited.
Same fate also for the 150 euro bonus given that, as the ministry specifies, it is fixed by a decree “not yet converted into law”.
