On the subject of Antalya. Anything is possible in Turkey. It may be that Sahin is no longer a trainer there after this season. Even promotion coaches were fired after promotion. Unfortunately, the wrong people often have the say there.
I assume that with your last sentence you mean Turkish clubs in general and not just Antalya.
Of course, that can happen and be true, but it does in all countries. Things are different in Turkey than in Germany or some other countries, including football, so as far as the subject is concerned, I wouldn’t just go into who is sitting at the counter, so to speak. That certain wishful thinking that a fan tends to have is completely different there, and it ends very quickly and often in an attitude of expectation. The same applies to the pressure and attitude towards the media.
The mentality there is just completely different and far more explosive than here, so you can safely say that shorter fuses are lit there. Whether management, media, fans or anything else. The pressure is usually very high and if you fail, verbal tables like to fly around. (We’ll just leave it at verbal for now )
I myself grew up with the Turkish culture, thinking about football is simply completely different than here. So if you take all those points, there’s a lot more going on there than just having the wrong man in the wrong chair.
As I said, it can always happen that the wrong person sits there, but what I would like to say is simply that people act differently there than here and that does not automatically mean, for example, that the leading force there is automatically the wrong person; she just leads differently and/or has different things to deal with.
