In the 19th Mediterranean Games held in Algeria, national weightlifter Nuray Güngör Levent won a silver medal in clean and snatch and a bronze medal in snatch.
The games held in the city of Oran continue with women’s weightlifting competitions. Nuray Güngör Levent, who climbed to the podium in 71 kilograms, won a silver medal in clean and jerk with a lift of 122 kilograms, and a bronze medal in snatch with a lift of 99 kilograms.
In the snatch, Egyptian Neama Said came in first with a lift of 101 kilograms, and Maghnia Hammadi from Algeria came in second with a lift of 100 kilograms.
In the shuffle, Egyptian Neama Said took the first place with a lift of 125 kg, and Maghnia Hammadi from Algeria took the third place with a lift of 121 kg.
