Nottingham Forest, one of the English Premier League teams, announced that Portuguese coach Nuno Espirito Santo has been appointed as the technical director.
In the statement made by the club, it was noted that a 2.5-year contract was signed with 49-year-old Santo to fill the vacant position of coach following the departure of Steve Cooper.
Santo, who previously coached Wolverhampton and Tottenham in the Premier League, last took over the Saudi Arabian team Al-Ittihad in July 2022, but was dismissed last month.
Nottingham Forest is in 17th place in the league with 14 points after 17 weeks.
