Now German pop stars are calling for peace in Ukraine!
Many prominent musicians have announced their attendance at a rally under the motto “Sound of Peace” at the Brandenburg Gate on Sunday. The organizers speak of Europe’s largest musical rally.
Among others, Adel Tawil, Antje Schomaker, BenjRose, Cassandra Steen, Clueso, Deine Cousine, Dreitehr Wahl, Fatoni, Fortuna Ehrenfeld, Hartmut Engler von Pur, In Extremo, Joris, Lina Maly feat. Enno Bunger, Madeline Juno, Mia., Michael Patrick Kelly, Mine, Peter Maffay, Philipp Poisel, Revolverheld, Rolf Stahlhofen & Spielvereinigung, Sarah Connor, Silbermond, The BossHoss or Zoe Wees. Further commitments were expected.
20,000 participants are registered. It is quite possible that there will be significantly more. It starts at 12 p.m., the TV channels ProSieben and SAT.1 will broadcast live from 3 p.m.
Channel boss Daniel Rosemann (41): “Such a movement and a common attitude does not only happen in front of the Brandenburg Gate, but on all couches and in all living rooms.”
Speeches and discussions are planned between the performances. Natalia Klitschko (48), wife of Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko (50), also wants to speak at the demo. Likewise author Sebastian Fitzek (50) and journalist Düzen Tekkal (43).

The guys from the country rock band BossHoss are also on stage. “We want to reach as many people as possible and show that we can all maybe change something together,” says Sascha Vollmer (50).
At the same time, the organizers collect money for the people in Ukraine and other war zones.
