The number of young people under the age of 27 receiving social assistance benefits fell by three thousand last year. That represented a decrease of 8 percent. The number of social assistance recipients also decreased in other age groups, but at a slower rate. This is evident from figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS).
