Despite the corona pandemic and the rise of online holiday booking, the number of travel agencies in the Netherlands is greater than five years ago, figures from the Chamber of Commerce (KVK) show on Friday. At the beginning of 2017, there were 5,564 physical places where you could book holidays, at the beginning of this year the counter stood at 5,839.
