Number of corona patients in hospitals about the same

The number of corona patients in Dutch hospitals has remained about the same over the past 24 hours. There are currently 1,363 corona patients being cared for. That is 3 less than Friday, according to the figures from the National Coordination Center for Patients Spreading (LCPS).

However, the number of sick corona patients in intensive care units has increased over the past 24 hours. There are now 229 patients, 15 more than Friday when 214 seriously ill corona patients were in the IC.

The number of corona patients admitted to the nursing wards decreased by 18. Employees there now care for 1,134 patients with corona.
