Aviation was still affected by the corona pandemic in the first quarter. In total, more than 10 million passengers flew through the five largest airports in the Netherlands, of which Schiphol is by far the most important. That is almost 60 percent of the number of passengers in the same period in 2019, the last year before the corona virus spread worldwide.
