Nukus by Nick Vervoort (formerly known as Nukus) is a Dutch women’s brand for women of all ages. It was founded in 2017 by Nick Vervoort. In the same year, the entrepreneur presented the first Nukus collection at the Amsterdam fashion fair Modefabriek. The brand’s collections are timeless and stylish and consist of high-quality, natural materials such as luxurious fabrics.
origins
The entrepreneur Nick Vervoort initially gained years of experience in women’s fashion and five years ago he realized his dream of having his own clothing line with Nukus, which he later expanded to include a shoe line. The founder has a clear vision. Among other things, his company works with a sustainable factory in Portugal that has already received several awards. Nukus brings out a new collection eight times a year, with which Nick Vervoort tries again and again to surpass himself. Each collection contains high-quality basics that can be easily combined.

Since Nukus was founded, Nick Vervoort has achieved steady growth of the brand. In 2018 the sales team was strengthened and Nukus expanded its range to a complete collection. In 2019 the brand changed its name to Nukus by Nick Vervoort. The label also opened a pop-up showroom in Amsterdam and signed its first international partnerships with Belgium and Germany. Since 2020, Nukus products have also been available through their own web shop, including their own shoe collection.
Current
Since Nick Vervoort founded the brand in 2017, he has already opened 350 points of sale, mainly in the Netherlands. According to fashion retail site Textilia, the company has grown by around thirty percent every year since 2017, both in terms of sales and the number of customers, even during the pandemic. By 2022, Nick Vervoort wants to open more shop-in-shops step by step. In the future, Nukus by Nick Vervoort hopes to expand internationally, first in Germany and Belgium and then in the rest of Europe.
