The nuclear reactor in Petten, North Holland, will be restarted on Thursday and extensively tested. The reactor, which produces the largest amount of medical isotopes in the world, has recently been shut down due to a leak in a cooling system. That problem has been solved by creating a kind of bypass, says a spokesperson for the Nuclear Research Group (NRG).
