Last night, the nuclear cabinet approved the agreement with Engie on the extension of the lifespan of the Doel 4 and Tihange 3 nuclear power stations. The ten-year extension has now been translated into a legal framework, which has been given the green light by the government, reports Energy Minister Tinne Van der Straeten (Green).
