NS is suspending train traffic throughout the north of the Netherlands.
There have been no trains running in North Holland and Flevoland since 8:30 a.m. because of the storm. Train traffic from Amersfoort, Zwolle, Groningen and Leeuwarden will also be halted from 09:30.
The journey planner is being updated and may still show incorrect information on the website . It is not known until what time the trains do not run. The storm is expected to weaken in the afternoon.
