private matter

After seeing the results of the external investigation, Ajax regarded the matter as a private matter. That is why Bogarde was allowed to stay on as assistant to trainer Erik ten Hag. Bogarde himself does not want to respond to the questions that NRC has submitted to his lawyer.

The woman in question did not work at Ajax, but did come into contact with Bogarde because of his position. According to a psychologist, the woman experienced ‘serious psychological damage’. Not only Ajax, but also the KNVB, sports umbrella organization NOC*NSF and the institute for sports justice are aware of the case. The woman also made an anonymous complaint to those authorities.
