Nozems on mopeds take possession of the TT circuit in Assen. ‘Humming on the TT track’ is an ode to the two-wheeler

No flashy cars or motorcycles, but mopeds on the TT track on Sunday 3 July. Thousands of moped owners, passengers, clubs and visitors come to ‘Mopeds Kiek’n’ in Assen.

According to a BromfieTTs spokesperson, there are a lot of 50cc two-wheelers to admire. ‘From everyday mopeds to now very rare models. For moped riders and clubs it’s about ‘seeing and being seen’ and of course a round of ‘humming along the stands on the legendary TT track’ where GP heroes such as Henk van Kessel, Aalt Toersen and Wil Hartog achieved many successes.’

The former Grand Prix winners and the 1974 50cc World Champion put on their motorcycle suits again especially for this occasion to guide the BromfieTTs around the TT circuit.

Market

In addition to ‘humming on the TT track’, the Moto Trophy program includes racing with historic two-stroke and four-stroke motorcycles throughout the day. There is also a market where parts are available.
