The determination desk for the NOW5 will remain open for longer, namely until 2 June 2023. This was decided today by Minister Van Gennip of Social Affairs and Employment. With this, the final submission date for a determination application has been brought into line with the NOW6.
The extended opening of the determination desk gives employers longer the opportunity to submit a determination application for the NOW-5 subsidy to the UWV. The reason for this change is that accountants can combine certain audit activities with regard to turnover on the basis of the combined accountants protocol of the NOW-5 and NOW-6.
Originally, the closing dates of both NOW periods differed from each other. With this change, both assessment desks will close on the same day, allowing accountants to combine audit work over a longer period.
However, despite the fact that it is possible to combine the audit on certain aspects, a separate statement is always required for each NOW period.
The original date for opening the NOW5 assessment desk was until February 22, 2023.
