Häyrinen has not noticed that Ramsay is a follower of his Tiktok account in Lieme, but Häyrinen plans to send Ramsay a personal message on Instagram anyway.

Uuni fetapasta was born in a situation when Häyrinen was working remotely at home alone. Lunch dragged on and then I was very hungry and had to get food quickly.
Häyrinen started to like baked feta, but he thought that feta alone is not a very good idea.
– I figured out that I put a lot of cherry tomatoes and oil with them, so that it becomes a bit like a sauce mixed with pasta. Plus some chili. The first time I didn’t even add garlic. Finally, I made an Instagram story about the pasta, Häyrinen recalls.
The Instagram post immediately got a lot of reactions, it ended up on the Liemä blog and it became popular.
The recipe has conquered not only Finland but also Europe, and there was also a boom in America, but the real explosion happened when Feel Good Foodie posted the video on his Tiktok account in the spring of 2020.
At the same time, Häyrinen also put the original oven feta pasta on his Tiktok. The rest is history.
– Then I was on the phone every day for a month, when I gave interviews around the world, from South America to Europe. I made videos for a French TV broadcast with a mobile phone. It was pretty wild.
Last year, baked feta pasta was the most Googled recipe in the world, and when talking about Tiktok food, baked feta pasta is always mentioned.
Häyrinen states that behind the success of oven feta pasta is not only a functional and delicious recipe, but also Häyrinen’s tireless work on social media, but also a bit of luck. Sometimes the snowball won’t start, no matter how hard you poke it. Hits cannot be ordered.
– I could never have imagined how far oven feta pasta can go.
Häyrinen really doesn’t take the pressure that he should spin yet another super hit. Oven feta pasta was a once-in-a-lifetime thing.
– I hope that oven feta pasta will still save many people’s everyday lives. If I can help people in the kitchen, that’s my motivation and reason to do this job.
