Now choose your dream eleven for the league opener

After a turbulent transfer summer, BVB is once again starting the season with high goals. The stars of the black and yellow will be put to the test on the first day of the new Bundesliga season in the game against Bayer Leverkusen. Who should coach Edin Terzic trust, who should sit on the bench first? Vote now!

No Haaland, no problem? After the expected change of the Norwegian superstar, BVB has repositioned itself on the offensive. With Sébastien Haller, however, the cornerstone of the new attack is missing in the coming months. In Karim Adeyemi, on the other hand, another offensive newcomer is available.

Edin Terzic isn’t able to play to the full in defense either in the second competitive game of the new season, because Niklas Süle (thigh problems) is out for the time being. Nico Schlotterbeck, who also switched to the Black and Yellows in the summer, is on board for this.

A third signing could come into play against the Werkself from Leverkusen in Salih Özcan. The defensive midfielder, who moved to Dortmund from 1. FC Köln, has recently been highly praised and could close the gap at headquarters that has regularly caused problems for Borussia in recent years.

Should the newcomers all get a chance in the starting XI from the start? Or should Edin Terzic rather rely on the experienced Dortmund pros? Vote now and choose your BVB dream team!

For BVB, the game against the Werkself is the start of an initial program that is feasible on paper. After the game against Leverkusen, there are games against SC Freiburg, newly promoted Werder Bremen, Hertha BSC and TSG Hoffenheim in the league.

The season will be really interesting for Dortmund when the team has to deal with RB Leipzig (6th matchday), FC Schalke 04 (7th matchday) and FC Bayern (9th matchday) within a few weeks.
