Serbian Novak Djokovic, who defeated Italian Jannik Sinner 3-0 in Wimbledon, the third grand slam tennis tournament of the season, became the first name to reach the final in men’s singles.
In the men’s singles semi-finals of the tournament hosted by the capital city of England, London, 2nd seeded Djokovic and 8th seeded Sinner faced each other.
Serbian tennis player Djokovic, who won 23 grand slam titles, including 7 at Wimbledon, won the match, which lasted 2 hours and 47 minutes, 3-0 with sets of 6-3, 6-4 and 7-6 and made his mark in the final.
Djokovic, who reached the grand slam final for the 35th time in his career, broke the record by surpassing Chris Evert (34) in this field.
Djokovic will face the winner of the match between Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Russia’s Daniil Medvedev in the final.
