Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann can probably plan with Noussair Mazraoui again soon. The 25-year-old Moroccan took part in the team training of the German record champions for the first time this year on Thursday.
When the defender will be fully operational again, however, is open. In the top Bundesliga game on Sunday (5:30 p.m. / DAZN) against Union Berlin, Mazraoui is not yet an issue. Mazraoui had been out since the World Cup with a myocarditis.
That’s what superstar Sadio Mane is against Union before his comeback at Bayern. The 30-year-old offensive player has been training again since Sunday. Mane tore a tendon on his right fibula head in mid-November and missed the World Cup with Senegal after the subsequent operation.
Furthermore, the long-term injured Manuel Neuer and Lucas Hernandez are out. The red-banned Dayot Upamecano is also missing against the Berliners.
