Not yet a real autumn: warm and sunny start to October

Winter coats can still hang deep in the closet for the time being. October not only starts warm and sunny: the late summer weather continues for the rest of the week. Only occasionally is there a chance of a shower.

Today and tomorrow we can expect a lot of sun in the province, reports weatherman Jan Visser. Fields of cloud cover appear and it remains dry.

The temperature this afternoon varies from twenty degrees in the north to 22 degrees in the center of the country. The wind is blowing moderately and coming from the southwest.

Tonight and tonight there will be broad clear skies with veil clouds and it will remain dry. The temperature drops to about thirteen degrees, in the north of the country it remains around sixteen degrees under cloud. The wind is blowing weak to moderate and coming from the southwest.

Small taste of autumn weather

Tomorrow we will have late summer weather with sunny periods and it will remain dry. Cloud fields also occur in the northwest and north. The maximum temperature varies from twenty degrees in the north to 23 degrees in the center of the country,

The rest of the week, only Tuesday has autumnal features. A disturbance will then pass over the North Sea, causing sunny periods and showers and a strong westerly wind.

Summer weekend

In the afternoon the temperature does not exceed eighteen degrees, which according to Visser is still too high for early October. From Wednesday the sun will show itself regularly and there is a chance of showers locally during the first few days.

However, according to the NH weatherman, the dry weather has the upper hand. In the afternoon it will be nineteen degrees. It will be sunnier from Friday and it will be quite warm again during the weekend.
