Micky van de Ven will continue to play football at VfL Wolfsburg for the time being. The former defender of FC Volendam has extended his contract with the North Germans until 2027. Incidentally, the 21-year-old football player from Wormer has not yet missed a duel in the Bundesliga.
After an arbitration case against FC Volendam, Van de Ven left for Mark van Bommel’s Wolfsburg in the summer of 2021. In his first year he only played five games for the Germans.
This season has emerged as a basic player and he has not missed even a minute in the competition. Nevertheless, he was not in the pre-selection of national coach Ronald Koeman. He is, however, in the junior corps of the Juniors.
