The exceptionally fat black bear ‘Hank the Tank’, known for his raids near Lake Tahoe in the US state of California, does not appear to be solely responsible for the break-ins. The bear, which weighs a whopping 226 kilograms, was previously believed to have stolen food scraps from at least 28 homes in the region since last summer. However, DNA research now shows that it concerns a trio of munching.
