The Passage has been sold and is awaiting a complete makeover. The covered shopping area will include fresh food stores and a supermarket. But did you know that in the early years of the Passage we also had a fresh produce area and a supermarket?

In the covered fresh produce area we did some shopping at the cheesemonger, the fishmonger and the bakery. At the entrance to the fresh land there was a terrace where you could drink coffee. Diagonally across the street was the C1000 supermarket for daily shopping.

We dug into the archives and found a few photos of the Passage in earlier times. Are you watching?
