Ceulemans was the first presenter of the Jeugdjournaal in 1981. Before that she was mainly known as an actress. In the seventies, eighties and nineties she played in many major television series, such as Swiebertje, Joop ter Heul, War Winter, GTST and ‘t Zonnetje in Huis. Ceulemans also did a lot of voice-over work.
Ceulemans grew up in Amsterdam, as the daughter of an actress and a guitarist. Through the work of her parents, she got to know the media world at a young age. She had her first performances in AVRO’s Children’s Choir and in radio plays by the KRO, in which her mother also participated. She then trained with the Scapino Ballet. This earned her jobs as a dancer on major television shows, such as the Johnny and Rijkshow and the pop show muff ga-ga. In the long run she was no longer satisfied with this, after which she decided to develop into an actress.

In the early eighties Ceulemans, together with Marga van Praag, formed the basis of the youth news. She got the job after she responded to a vacancy. Ceulemans remained the face of the program for almost two years, but left the program due to continued criticism of her presentation skills.
The former television celebrity has not been publicly available in recent years due to her failing health. She donated her body to science. Therefore, there will be no funeral.
