Teemu Pukin the future in Norwich has spoken again, as the Canary Islands are likely to head from the Premier League back to the Championship Series.
The number one agreement between Norwich and Norwich has so far reached the end of this season.
Pukki’s contract papers also have an option for an additional year. Norwich now announces that it has exercised Puk’s option.
Pukki have scored ten goals in 31 Premier League matches this season.
However, the exercise of the buck option does not mean that the Finn will necessarily continue in Norwich next season.
Now Pukki has been attached to the contract with Norwich for the next season as well, but by doing so, the club would receive transfer compensation for the attacker when Pukki leaves.
If Pukki had left at the end of the contract period and the option had not been exercised, the potential new club would not have had to pay Norwich transfer compensation.
The buck moved to Norwich from Denmark in 2018 with a free transfer. Kotkalainen was a button buyer, as he has hit 21 goals in 67 matches in the Premier League and 55 goals in 84 games in the Championship Series.
