Teemu Puk is about to start his fourth season with Norwich, but the continuation of the success story can still change significantly before the start of the actual league season.

In connection with the national team games at the beginning of the summer, Pukki made it clear that a transfer from Norwich, which was relegated to the Championship, is his wish.

– I want to play at the highest possible level, and I have been able to make a result in the Premier League as well, Pukki said.

At the beginning of the current week, Puki’s player-agent Teemu Turunen confirmed for MTV Sportthat negotiations to enable the transfer with Norwich are “going on all the time”.

However, the matter is complicated, because already in April the club used the option to extend the contract of the Finnish striker. In practice, Norwich can water down Puki’s departure by demanding a higher transfer fee.

Now the Norwich manager has taken a stand on the matter Dean Smithaccording to which the club has no intention of letting go of its Finnish top scorer.

– I would like to coach in the Premier League. That’s what Puk’s agent meant, I guess. He stays with the club. Sure enough, Smith told the Norwich Evening News.

Pukki hit 11 complete hits in the Premier League last season.
