North Korea has fired another missile. This is reported by the South Korean news agency Yonhap. The missile flew towards the Sea of Japan, which is located between the Korean Peninsula and Japan.
According to Yonhap, the launch was determined by the South Korean military, which is still investigating exactly what type of missile was fired. It is probably a ballistic missile.
The Japanese Coast Guard has also reported the launch, the Japanese news agency Kyodo reports.

UN resolutions prohibit North Korea from conducting ballistic missile tests. Some of those missiles can be equipped with a nuclear warhead.
Tensions between the two Korean countries have increased in recent times. In response to the unrest, Seoul and Washington have decided to step up defense cooperation.
