North Korea fires another missile, possibly flew over Japan | Abroad

Japan and South Korea say it may be a ballistic missile. It is the sixth time in less than two weeks that North Korea has conducted a missile test.

The situation around the two Koreas has been tense lately. South Korea, Japan and the United States condemned the North Korean missile test earlier this week. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke of ‘an unacceptable threat to the Japanese people’. A day later, the armies of South Korea and the United States also fired missiles. One of them crashed, but caused no casualties.

UN resolutions prohibit North Korea from testing ballistic missiles that can carry a nuclear warhead.
