North Holland success at World Swimming Championships for mixed relay team

The Dutch mixed relay team including Kira Toussaint (Assendelft) and Arno Kamminga (Amsterdam) has won bronze in the 4×100 meter medley. America came first and Australia second.

In a time of 3.41.54, the relay team took the bronze medal. In addition to Arno Kamminga and Kira Toussaint, the team consisted of Nyls Korstanje and Marrit Steenbergen. For the Dutch squad, it marked the second medal. Arno Kamminga took silver in the 100-meter breaststroke on Monday.

Toussaint to final

Earlier in the evening Kira Toussaint qualified for the final in the 50 meter backstroke. In the semifinals she reached 27.69 and that was the seventh time in total.
