The US retailer Nordstrom Inc. has to fill a key position. On Monday, the group announced that Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Anne Bramman had announced her resignation. Nordstrom said she would still be involved in the preparation of the results for the third quarter of 2022/23 and would leave the company on December 2nd. At the same time, the retailer confirmed its full-year guidance.

“It has always been a privilege for me to work alongside our leadership team and the many talented individuals across the business,” said Bramman, who was appointed chief financial officer in 2017, in a statement. “Now that Nordstrom is well-positioned for further success, I felt it was the right time to start the next chapter of my career.”

The group announced that it had already started looking for a new CFO. Both “internal and external” candidates would be considered. Until Bramman’s successor:in is found, Michael Maher will lead the finance department on an interim basis. The current senior vice president and chief accounting officer will serve as interim CFO after the departure of the chief financial officer, Nordstrom said.
