That’s how the test went
In the pre-competition rehearsal, Gyda Westvold Hansen showed once again that if you want to get to the top of the podium, you have to beat her. With 94 meters she showed the best jump despite two gates less than the athletes directly behind her. Annika Sieff jumped 92.5 meters. Things went well again for Lisa Hirner and Nathalie Armbruster, who found themselves in third and fourth place.

Good conditions
The conditions in Lillehammer are good again today. The wind is stable and has little to no effect on the jumps. As a result, nothing stands in the way of another fair competition. Again 30 athletes are at the start.

ÖSV trio
For the Austrians, it should be Lisa Hirner again, who can be considered for a good result. She currently has the best balance of both sub-disciplines. For their part, Annalena Slamik and Claudia Puker have to stalk their way back to the front after injuries. It was already going well for Slamik, Purker still has reserves in the cross-country ski run.

would like more
After the strong success, the German combined athletes certainly want more and also have the opportunity to dust off a good result again. In addition to Armbruster, Jenny Nowak can certainly hope for a good result again. Magdalena Burger and Svenja Würth also started the winter positively. Cindy Haasch and Maria Gerboth certainly had hoped for more in the first competition, for whom it is now a matter of ticking off Friday and concentrating on today.

Armbruster gets first podium for DSV women
Gyda Westvold Hansen won yesterday in Lillehammer by a wide margin and the Norwegian should be the big favorite again today, but behind her it is evident that many strong athletes are moving up. One of them is 16-year-old Nathalie Armbruster, who made the first German podium for the combined women in the World Cup on Friday. With a great form from the hill and in the cross-country ski run, she was third behind the Italian Sieff.
