Svenja Würth has a good chance of a podium finish at the Nordic Combined World Cup opener in Lillehammer. After jumping, Würth is in third place behind the Norwegians Gyda Westvold Hansen and Mari Leinan Lund.
Mixed World Cup start for Nathalie Armbruster in Lillehammer. Germany’s best combined woman is only in tenth place after jumping with a distance of 91.5 meters (108.8 points), but can still make up places with a corresponding running performance.
Würth convinced by the ski jump
Things went much better for Svenja Würth. The athlete from SV Baiersbronn came in third behind the Norwegians Gyda Westvold Hansen (134.4) and Mari Leinan Lund (129.8).
Jenny Nowak was the third German to jump into the top ten (109.5) and is ninth on the trail. Maria Gerboth narrowly missed it. After jumping she is in eleventh place (104.9). Magdalena Burger starts the second and final part of the Nordic Combined in 24th place.
