Nordic combination live ticker: Seefeld HS 109, 5km in the live ticker

13:56

The women’s race starts at 3:55 p.m

With that we say goodbye to Seefeld. This afternoon the men’s races (3:05 p.m.) and women’s races (3:55 p.m.) take place. We will be there live again.

13:54

Two ÖSV athletes in the top ten

Annalena Slamik is in fifth place after jumping, 1:44 minutes behind and is the best Austrian. Right behind her is the best ÖSV athlete in the World Cup, Lisa Hirner. The 20-year-old will be running at the same time as her compatriot and will probably form a running group with her and Gyda Westvold Hansen.

13:51

All German combined women are in the top 10

In addition to Svenja Würth, the other three German athletes also have a very good starting position for the five kilometer run. Nathalie Armbruster is fourth (+1:03 mins). Jenny Nowak takes eighth place (+1:54) after jumping and Maria Gerboth enters the trail in tenth place, 2:07 minutes behind.

1:50 p.m

Leinan-Lund wins ahead of Hagen and Würth

Once again the Norwegian Mari Leinan Lund sets the best distance on the hill and wins the jumping with 103 meters ahead of her compatriot Ida Marie Hagen (+0:26) and the German Svenja Würth (+0:49). Last season’s overall World Cup winner, Gyda Westvold Hansen, in seventh place, 1:47 minutes behind, has little chance of a podium finish.

13:49

Ida Marie Hagen (NOR)

And the woman in the yellow jersey now also gets green. Ida Marie Hagen attacks Mari Leinan Lund’s lead and jumps 100.5 meters. This puts the overall World Cup leader ahead of Würth in second place and is only 26 seconds behind for the five kilometer run.

13:48

Gyda Westvold Hansen (NOR)

The dominator and overall World Cup winner from last season is already at 91 meters today. Gyda Westvold Hansen is only sixth. The Norwegian doesn’t agree with this result at all and is 1:47 minutes behind her compatriot.

13:47

Mari Leinan Lund (NOR)

The last three jumpers are still at the top and they all come from Norway. Mari Leinan Lund won the jumping in Schonach. Now she sets the new best distance of 103 meters and pushes Würth out of the leaders box with 114.5 points. This puts her 49 seconds ahead of the German.

13:46

Haruka Kasai (JPN)

The best Japanese woman can now only jump 91 meters. This means that Haruka Kasai returns to eighth place.

1:45 p.m

Nathalie Armbruster (GER)

The best German is in the air. Nathalie Armbruster places her skis in the snow at 100.5 meters. She easily cheats the telemark and pushes Slamik into third place.

1:45 p.m

Jenny Nowak (GER)

Jenny Nowak now also finds the feeling of flying and sails to 93.5 meters. But she has more momentum than Hirner and so she is only fourth with 86 points.

13:44

Lisa Hirner (AUT)

And Lisa Hirner is also quickly let off the beam. The Austrian attacks the green line and extends her jump to 91.5 meters. This means that the best ÖSV athlete is in third place in the overall World Cup.

13:43

Lena Brocard (FRA)

The only French woman is on the trail. Lena Brocard also has problems and twists easily in the air. This means she only has 88.5 meters and is ninth for the Frenchwoman.

1:40 p.m

Anju Nakamura (JPN)

The penultimate Japanese woman sits at the top. She also has to sit on the beam for a long time and has to go down again. The wait continues! Anju Nakamura is then allowed to go down on the second attempt. But she already lands at 68.5 meters and has major problems in the air. This brings her up to 13th place.

1:40 p.m

Maria Gerboth (GER)

The German is finally allowed to go down. The conditions have calmed down a little and so the second German jumper can go. Maria Gerboth flies to 91 meters and is fourth.

13:37

Waiting is required

The second German now opens the top 10. Maria Gerboth has to wait a long time. The updraft is now increasing a little. She has to come off the beam again. In the meantime, a jumper goes off the beam. The snow is now increasing.

13:29

Daniela Dejori (ITA)

Half of the athletes are already down. Daniela Dejori has to sit on the beam longer again, but then gets the green light. For the Italian it’s 94 meters. The 21-year-old is only fourth. She can’t really take advantage of the good updraft.

13:28

Yuna Kasai (JPN)

The next Japanese woman has to land at 96 meters. With grades of 16 and 16.5, she ended up third with 85.6 points.

13:27

Annika Malacinski (USA)

Her brother just jumped off the jump in Seefeld. Now it’s Annika Malacinski’s turn. The American also had slight problems landing at 90 meters and so she made it to sixth place.

13:27

Marte Leinan Lund (NOR)

Mari Leinan Lund’s younger sister, Marte Leinan Lund, is waved off and has to correct a bit in the air. This brings us back to sixth place with 84 meters.

13:26

Svenja Würth (GER)

The first German is already turning green. The best German jumper is in the air and jumps to 102.5 meters. However, she can no longer do telemark. Nevertheless, Svenja Würth is satisfied with the jump and clenches her fists and smiles into the camera as the leader with 102.3 points.

13:23

Annalena Slamik (AUT)

It’s getting loud again down in the run. The next Austrian is sitting at the top. But she has too much wind and has to get off the beam again. Yesterday she was the best ÖSV athlete in the PCR. Now Annalena Slamik is allowed to go down and sets the new best distance of the day with 96 meters. This means she pushes the American out of first place.

13:23

Alexa Brabec (USA)

The first American woman sits at the top and flies at 90.5 meters. This means she takes over the place in the Leaders Box.

13:22

Sana Azegami (JPN)

The Japanese Sana Azegami has slight problems after the jump and has to compensate with her right hand. That costs a few meters and so she ends up at 79 meters and is fourth.

13:21

Veronica Gianmoena (ITA)

The first Italian woman gets green at the top and lands at 88.5 meters. With this she attacks the vastness of Purker. Veronica Gianmoena pushed the Austrian out of first place with 77.0 points.

1:20 p.m

Silva Verbic (SLO)

The Slovenian Silva Verbic is a little late at the table and then twists her body slightly in the air. This means she has to abort the jump at 79.5 meters. Second place for the Slovenian.

13:19

Claudia Purker (AUT)

The first Austrian then had better luck with the wind and was able to jump to 89 meters. Claudia Purker clenches her fist when landing and takes the lead with 75.6 points.

13:17

Hanna Midtsundstad (NOR)

The combined jumping starts a little late. The Norwegian Hanna Midtsundstad is released from Gate 18 and has to land at 56.5 meters. With 2.8 points, she set the first point rating at the bottom of the run-out.

13:13

It will start soon!

Hanna Midtsundstad opens the first day of competition for the women in Seefeld.

13:10

Three Austrians at the start

At the big highlight in the 2023/24 season, only three athletes are registered with the ÖSV. In addition to Claudia Purker (start number 2), Annalena Slamik (7) and the best Austrian Lisa Hirner (16) are also there. Unlike Switzerland, which did not register a single female athlete for the World Cup in Seefeld.

12:55

Jumping only at 1:15 p.m

Since the men need a little longer on the hill, the women’s competition jump doesn’t start until 1:15 p.m.

12:50

Four German athletes registered

In addition to the best German combined athlete Nathalie Armbruster (start number 18), who reached the podium in Schonach for the first time this season, three other athletes from Germany are also competing in Seefeld. The first to go off the beam is the strong jumper Svenja Würth with start number eight. Maria Gerboth (13) and Jenny Nowak (17) are also taking part in the Seefeld Triple.

12:45

Can the Norwegians be beaten?

The Norwegian women are again among the favorites to win. In addition to the woman in the yellow jersey, Ida Marie Hagen, the dominator of recent years, Gyda Westvold Hansen, is also one of the favorites in Seefeld today. She won the Provisional Competition Round (PCR) yesterday with 102.5 meters. In addition, the third Norwegian Mari Leinan Lund, who has already won a competition in Oberstdorf and a competition in Schonach and is particularly strong in jumping, should not be forgotten among the favorites for victory.

12:40

The women are in Seefeld for the first time

The highlight of this year’s Nordic combined season is coming up – the Seefeld Triple. Although the women only compete in two competitions: a Gundersen competition and the Individual Compact format, the World Cup weekend in Seefeld is still considered a highlight of this year’s season. Today we’ll first be jumping from the ski jump and then this afternoon a five kilometer run.

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to the women’s Nordic combination from Seefeld! The live ticker begins in good time before the start of the competition.
