According to the chairman of the German regulator, Jochem Homann, although a German subsidiary has already been established, which was required for the certification, no further steps have been taken yet, which means that it will hardly be possible before the summer.
“If you see which studies are still needed, you quickly come to the conclusion that admission in the first half of the year is almost impossible,” he told the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeinen Zeitung (FAZ).
The gas transport company Gas for Europe, headquartered in Schwerin, said on Wednesday that it wants to continue the certification process “as soon as possible”.
