Nora Tschirner has joined the debate about Till Lindemann – a female fan had claimed that she may have been given knockout drops at a party as part of the Rammstein concert in Vilnius (May 25); then the woman, named Shelby Lynn, posted photos showing her with bruises and bruises. Rammstein published a statement: “Regarding the allegations about Vilnius circulating online, we can rule out that what is alleged to have happened in our environment.” It is also pointed out that they are not aware of any “official investigations”.
Since then, Lynn has been severely attacked on social media, many write that she just wants to make herself important – precisely because she stated in later tweets that, contrary to some interpretations, she did not accuse Rammstein singer Lindemann of rape and did not do so either want to suggest. However, their attempts to report the alleged events to the Lithuanian police were unsuccessful.
The actress Nora Tschirner, who recently spoke up in the Til Schweiger case, described the handling of Shelby Lynn in an Instagram story (screenshot below) as gaslighting – a method of abuse in which victims are specifically manipulated, which damages them can lead to self-confidence. Here “a violent form of psychological violence” happened, as Tschirner writes, which leads to “retraumatization”.
Tschirner laments the portrayal of Lynn, as Till Lindemann’s ex Sophia Thomalla did, as “attention-seeking, contradictory and mentally unstable fame-hunter characters” as an “ancient, crystal-clear gaslighting method.” That leads to intimidation. And Tschirner also has a wish for the media, one of which she addresses directly: “Please don’t take part in it.”
A lot of love goes out – once again – to the great and extremely stable Nora Tschirner ❤️#Rammstein#Lindemann pic.twitter.com/yJjJsS6kKs
