The coalition parties in the municipality of Noordenveld generally agree on the policy for the next four years. The plans of the upcoming council, consisting of Municipal Interests, VVD and PvdA/GroenLinks can be read in the agreement in principle ‘Building Noordenveld together’.
Concrete ideas from the agreement are the construction of 800 to 1,000 homes and the further sustainability of residential areas and businesses in the municipality. Residents must be helped from a single point of contact, and permit applications must be made more public-friendly. It has also been laid down that the own municipal organization must be in order, just like the finances.
The upcoming council has four aldermen. Kirsten Ipema and Jos Darwinkel are the aldermen on behalf of Municipal Interests, Alex Wekema on behalf of PvdA/GroenLinks and Robert Meijer is the VVD alderman.
If the members of the parties agree, the agreement is discussed in the city council. Alderman Ipema also keeps the option open to make adjustments after advice from the residents of Noordenveld.
