Noora Räty returns to Finland for HPK

Nora Räty continues his career in Finland.

The goalkeeper signed a tryout contract covering October with HPK. Hämeenlinna is a familiar place for Rädy. He played 14 matches in HPK last season with a save percentage of 95.4. Last year, Räty also played in Russia for KRS Vanke Rays. The season ended with a championship celebration.

Räty, 33, who belongs to the world’s elite, says in the press release that he wants to earn his place in the team.

– I would love to come back to Hämeenlinna to continue the project, which was a little unfinished last season after I moved abroad in January. I tried out through and I want to earn my place, Räty says in the press release.

Räty has won two Olympic and five World Cup medals. She was the No. 1 keeper of the Women’s Lions for years.

– It’s a great opportunity for our team to get Noora back. She is undoubtedly one of the most interesting players in women’s hockey in the world. I’m glad he came back to Hampton, HPK Women’s Manager Jorma Hassinen rejoices in the announcement.
