The ten nominees for the 2023 Drenthe Business of the Year election have been announced. A jury chose them from more than 150 companies that applied.
The companies are selected on the basis of criteria such as innovative strength, sustainability, financial balance and good entrepreneurship. Five out of ten companies come from Assen. The nominees are:
-Interzorg Service Center from Assen
-The Chesterfield Brand from Assen
-Alumax Boats from Meppel
-Brink Industrial from Hoogeveen
Bince from Assen
-Manter InternaHonal BV from Emmen
-Campooz Group from Assen
– Proxcys BV from Emmen
-Van Lier Catering from Assen
-X-InteracHve from Emmen
Chairman of the jury Ludo Mennes is satisfied with the quality of the nominated companies. “A nice mix of different companies, all of which are working hard in their field and are distinctive.”
The ten nominees must present their company to a jury in July. He then chooses three finalists. The final is on October 19 in De Nieuwe Kolk in Assen.
Last year, stage builder Interstage from Meppel was chosen as Drenthe Company of the Year. The company made a name for itself with, among other things, stage construction at the Eurovision Song Contest. The company also contributed to the Zwarte Cross, Concert at Sea and television shows The Voice of Holland and I love Holland..
