Nomination for VKW trainer Meppelink. VKW
Every year, the VVON Awards are presented to the best six amateur trainers (one in each district) in the Netherlands. Three trainers have been nominated for the Noord district, including Karlo Meppelink from VKW. On Monday 16 May, it will be announced which six trainers have been elected best amateur football trainer in the relevant district.
Meppelink owes his nomination to his performance as coach of VKW from Westerbork. At the moment, the Börkers, together with Hoogezand and WVV, are fully in the title race for promotion to the main division.
