NOFV contradicts regional leagues in the promotion debate to the 3rd division

Why does it actually need a regional league Bavaria?
Depending on the region, the teams can also be divided into the regional league south or east.
Then we would have been allowed to climb 4 leagues from which 4 teams.

Because there are 4,510 clubs with 1,603,865 members. With 24,481 clubs with a total of 7,169,327 members across Germany, that’s almost a fifth of all clubs and more than a fifth of all members of the DFB – it’s justified to have one of 5 regional leagues.

In comparison, the entire NOFV has “only” 3,744 clubs with 1,027,248 members. If a region were abolished and the clubs had to be distributed to other leagues… then that would be that of the NOFV.

The Bavarians and also northern clubs get nothing at all in the 3rd league and are actually always the highest traded relegation candidates.

2021 3 Bayern clubs and 1 North club relegated.
2020 2 Bayern clubs and actually 2 northern clubs (Meppen only stayed in because of Uerdingen)

With 1860, Bayern has a traditional club in the 3rd league, which actually belongs higher, with Ingolstadt a commercial club and with Bayreuth the currently weakest team in the league and the hottest contender for 20th place in the table.

North has Osnabrück (actually belongs in league 2), Oldenburg (old traditional club that plays surprisingly solidly) and Meppen, who were actually relegated in 2020 and will have a lot to do with the relegation battle again this season.

The other 3 leagues make up the rest.
I can understand that when the other 3 leagues are whining about Bayern. Even though I’m from northern Germany, of course there’s no criticism of the northern league here either. In my opinion, both leagues are neither an enrichment for the 3rd league purely in terms of football, nor do the two leagues come close to the other 3 in terms of spectators, quality of football etc.

I would actually suggest only having 3 regional leagues and letting the Bayern and northern teams play in the others.

The 3rd league has 3 fixed relegation places and the 4th is a small relegation tournament of the 3 2nd placed of the RLs and the 4th last of the 3rd league. So it wouldn’t be so incredibly unfair if you don’t get promoted in RL because of a 1 point difference (Münster, RWE in the recent past), even though you’ve won everything but a handful of games and are actually miles better than the teams from Bavaria and the north.
