Three-year-old Noëlla has painted herself and her mother’s Mercedes with stucco. Her mother filmed the result and that attracted a lot of attention. Within a day, millions of viewers have seen the video of little Picasso. Fortunately, she is doing well, but with the car a little less. “I didn’t like the color of Mom’s car very much.”
Within the family, Noëlla has a nickname: Cruella. And that’s not for nothing, says her mother Priscilla. “She has been very enterprising from an early age and does get into more mischief. It’s one to keep an eye on. When she came in covered in gunk, I wasn’t surprised. But this is not what I expected!”
Noëlla doesn’t seem very impressed with what her painting skills have caused. “I had colored Mum’s car, because it had to be a different color. I like rainbow colors,” she says. “But Mum was a little angry. I was shocked by that.”
“We were afraid she had swallowed it.”
When Priscilla walked out with her daughter, she was shocked. “It was only then that I saw that it was plaster. The car didn’t matter to me anymore. I was afraid the stuff wouldn’t come off her. Or that she had swallowed it.” Fortunately, the latter was not the case. And a good scrubbing turn ensured a clean Noëlla again.
The car needs a little longer. The stucco really ran everywhere. And an attempt to polish the car yourself has mainly caused scratches. According to Priscilla, the damage could run into the thousands of euros.
It is now also clear how Noëlla got her painting materials. The stucco came from buckets that were next to the car. “They have been building in our neighborhood for some time and those buckets had been there for two weeks,” says Priscilla. “Three buckets had already been opened, so Noëlla opened them herself. The contractor company feels responsible and pays for everything.”

The video can be seen on multiple social media channels and has since been viewed millions of times. The reactions were not always positive. For example, people think that Priscilla is pretty hard on her daughter. Or they wonder how it was possible that the little girl was able to go about her business undisturbed for so long. “I was shocked when I read it. Some things are really intense. But the people who know me know that I am good for my children.”
Fortunately, Noëlla’s family can laugh about it and are happy that everything was filmed. “We film everything here, because that’s fun for later. I often hear stories about myself in the past about what I was up to. I’m sorry there are no pictures of that. That’s why I like that I have that for Noëlla.”
