Noel Gallagher will not be joining Liam’s Definitely Maybe tour

So no Oasis comeback. “He was asked and he said no,” says Liam Gallagher.

Liam Gallagher has announced a Definitely Maybe tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Oasis’ 1994 debut album. He wants to play the work in its entirety in 2024 and also perform some B-sides. But even though an Oasis reunion would be an option at this point, Noel Gallagher turned down the tour offer.

After the tour was announced, Liam Gallagher was asked by followers on social media whether his brother would be on board, to which he replied: “He was asked and he declined.”

More about the “Definitely Maybe” tour 2024

The Brit’s tour starts on June 2, 2024 in Sheffield, England and will include twelve gigs in Great Britain and Ireland – three shows each in London and his hometown of Manchester.

Announcing the anniversary tour, Liam Gallagher wrote in an Instagram post: “I’m jumping around the house announcing the Definitely Maybe tour. The most important album of the 90s, bar none. Without it I would be nowhere and neither would you, so let’s celebrate together.”

Noel Gallagher won’t be there, but Liam Gallagher will be accompanied by ex-Oasis guitarist Bonehead.
