According to new statements by Noel Gallagher, even in 2022, this is just wishful thinking. When asked if they could ever expect a reunion, the musician replied smugly, “Uh, would you go on vacation with your ex-wives?”

As funny as that sounds: “Oasis sells as many records a year now as they did when we were still together. In people’s eyes, we’re just as popular today as we used to be. And I’m happy with it,” said the 55-year-old. Apparently, the possible monetary income in the course of a comeback is not worth the hustle and bustle: “If we got together again, there would be a circus – and that doesn’t make sense. According to Liam, Oasis should never have broken up
There have been rumors of a possible reunion in recent years. However, according to their own legend, the Gallagher brothers have not spoken to each other since their split in August 2009. Earlier this year, Liam said that Oasis “should never have broken up” – and that he would “love” it if the band got back together. “If it happens, then it happens. But I am very happy with my solo career. We should never have broken up, but we did and we are where we are now,” the 50-year-old said in February.
