David Bowie would have been 75 on January 8, 2022. On this occasion, various musicians* and actors* celebrated the legendary pop icon with a live stream in which they covered various of his songs, among other things. Those involved included Gary Oldman, Ricky Gervais, Evan Rachel Wood, Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon and John Taylor, Def Leppard, Living Colour, Walk The Moon and Jake Welsley Rogers.
Ex-Oasis mastermind Noel Gallagher also took part in the digital event in honor of Bowie. He covered the song “Valentine’s Day,” which appeared on Bowie’s 24th studio album THE NEXT DAY in 2013.

Superstar David Bowie died on January 10, 2016 in New York City. Two days earlier, on Bowie’s 69th birthday, his last album, BLACKSTAR, was released. The “Madame Tussaud’s” museum in London recently announced that that a second wax figure of Bowie is being planned.
Noel Gallagher plans to release a new album with his band High Flying Birds this year.
