Victor speaks in his podcast The Communicados of ‘a PR moment that was really orchestrated down to the last detail’. “There’s nothing spontaneous about it at all. This has been drawn up with more care than the average communiqué from the Government Information Service. And I thought it was a very interesting interview.”

What also strikes Victor is that Noa, like Linda herself and Johnny earlier, consciously chooses a niche to start her career with, namely sports reporting. According to him, the public would not accept it if she started doing major entertainment now. “This is the formula that the De Mol family always uses.”
Relationship revival
What Victor thinks is the most striking statement in Noa’s interview? That she says that Jeroen Rietbergen, mom’s sweetheart who is being prosecuted for rape, deserves a second chance. “That seems intended to create support for Jeroen’s return as Linda’s partner in public life.”
He concludes: “In private, Jeroen is of course already back – everything points to that – but in public he has not yet returned. Based on these comments, I think it’s only a matter of time before it’s officially on again. And I think that is why that is a very important statement for Linda de Mol in this interview.”

All in all: what does Victor expect from Noa’s career? “You can expect that she will probably also present major game shows in the longer term. Maybe she will present Miljoenenjacht in the future. It wouldn’t surprise me.”
